Decorating With Lanterns
Lanterns have been around for centuries, particularly the candle lantern. Because at one time fire was the only source of light at night time, lanterns were created in order to prevent wind from blowing out a candle’s fire. But since the widespread use of electricity, lanterns are rarely seen anymore. The only time you ever really see them now is during Halloween.
So why am I writing about them on a home decor blog? Well, you can use lanterns as an exotic way to decorate your home. A lantern properly situated in your living or dining room is sure to get the attention of house guests. And if you just want something different to place your candles on, a lantern is perfect.
